Chairman Message

We’re non-profit charity & NGO organization

Our organization wishes to focus attention on the enhancement of the down trodden and disadvantaged communities living in the plantation and remote areas in Sri Lanka, special consideration shall be given to women headed families. Although Sri Lanka is a developing nation which has reached the level of mid income, these communities confronted several issues in respect of their living conditions such as housing, income, health and education.

Moreover socio-economic indicators reveal the above disadvantage conditions of these people. The Organization has been engaged in implementing several programmes to address some of these issues within its capacity.

It is our experience that the programmes have produced several positive results in the plantation areas. For instance, there has been a remarkable increase in the awareness among the parents, school enrollment rates and decrease in the rate of dropouts. Furthermore it was felt that with these remarkable achievements, we should move forward and expand our activities. One of our significant factor is the support we are able to obtain from several stake holders such as parents, teachers, school principals, education authorities, district secretariat and NGO secretariat. In view of the circumentances explained above we seek the assistance from well-wishers locally and internationally to carry out our future projects for the benefit of plantation and remote areas of Sri Lankan society.
